Former Tusker striker Itubu Imbem who joined Yemen side Al Tilal Sports Club could make a return to the defending champions in order to maintain his fitness.
The striker says he is in talks with the club on a possible return since he is on a five month break before the second round of the Yemeni league resumes.
“I don’t want to lose my fitness and I am discussing with the club director about my return to play for the club in the second round before I leave for Yemen. I might start training next week.”
The former AFC Leopards player landed a two and half year contract with the Asian club but lifted the league title with the brewers last season.
The Congolese International is currently trying to secure an International Transfer Certificate (ITC).
“I have returned to Nairobi in order to secure my ITC from Tusker before travelling to Yemen later. We are currently working on getting the certificate.”
Tusker are currently third in the standings with 25 points, two points behind leaders AFC Leopards. They play sixth placed Chemelil Sugar on Friday at Nyayo Stadium.
