Rangers Came Down Hold Chemelil

Rangers came from a goal down to hold Chemelil  to a 1-1 draw at the latter’s’ backyard in Chemelil in an evenly contested match on Sunday.

Skipper Charles Odera scored a 25th minute penalty after veteran Mike Mururi was clattered to in the box by Edward Kauka forcing referee Tom Onyango to point to the spot.

The game witnessed a controversial moment when Mike Mururi's goals in the 15th and 21st minutes were disallowed by referee Tom Onyango.

The second half was a see saw affair with both sides attacking but it was Rangers who were the better side as Nick Ouma equalised for Rangers in the 63rd minute after a beautiful lobbed pass by Oscar Olwith.
